You can easily integrate Aura frames with Dropbox using IFTTT. First, you need to download the IFTTT app and create an account.
A few things to be aware of before you begin
Dropbox uploads only jpg and jpeg files at a qty of 15 at a time. Due to limitations in the IFTTT service, only photos which are added to the folder after setting up the integration will be sent to Aura. This can be easy to work around by making a new folder, connecting it to Aura, and then moving photos into your new folder after you complete the connection. Since IFTTT limits the number of photos uploaded at one time to sets of 15, we suggest you drag them over to your new folder in groups of 5-10 or fewer at a time to ensure that they are all sent to Aura. In the app, these photos appear in the Individual Photos section for the specified frame, they do not appear as an album with the Dropbox folder name.
Once you have created an IFTTT account follow these steps to sync Dropbox photos with the Aura app:
Open the IFTTT app and search for "Aura Frames"
Scroll down to "Send new JPEG files from Dropbox to your Aura Frames"
Scroll down to New file in your folder "Subfolder name". Please tap the bar underneath to name the folder that you plan to add photos to. ***Only NEW photos added to this folder will be sent to the frame you specify below***.
Scroll down to Add a Photo "Which frame?" and select the frame that you would like the photos uploaded to and tap the Save button.
IFTTT will display "Connecting Dropbox", then "Connected". Your Dropbox has now been connected!
Open your Dropbox account and add the photos you want integrated with the Aura app into the designated dropbox folder, remember only NEW photos added to this folder will appear on the frame.
Your photos will automatically be uploaded from Dropbox onto the frame! In the app, these photos appear in the Individual Photos section for the specified frame, they do not appear as an album with the Dropbox folder name.
